HAVE COMMUNICATIONS was founded in 1983 by Christian Have, who began working with Danish actress Bodil Udsen that same year. From 1984 the company provided PR and communication services to Gladsaxe Theatre.
At the beginning of the 1980s, communication and marketing strategies were the preserve of the business sector. However, the culture industry experienced a change in attitude in the years that followed. The increasing volume of cultural events required that individual projects focus on communication and be given a sharper profile.
Today the situation remains unchanged. This means that communication strategies, techniques and concepts must be regularly refined and developed. At the same time, public institutions and the business community have become conscious of the fact that the cultural sector offers unique opportunities for imaginative, innovative, recipient communication. In recent years, HAVE COMMUNICATIONS has therefore extended its business offering to include a wide range of communication and consultancy services to cultural institutions, public bodies, ministries, local authorities and private companies.
